Two stories about agents leaving the demo and touching live systems. First, a monitoring agent at a freight brokerage software shop that believed its own notes: a threshold changed in its docs but not in the script that actually ran, stuck behind a human deploy gate that was the right design and still created two truths. Second, an event ticketing company whose accounts database spiked because somebody's A.I. marketing tool hit an expensive listing endpoint with no backoff, and the watcher named the culprit in minutes. The lesson: know what is live, not what you wrote down, and give the agents you send out into the world some manners.
