The Build, part 4 of 4, the finale. We priced agents per seat, then per machine, until we looked at what actually costs us and found it was never how many customers we had, but how many agents were awake at the same time, so the wrong unit would have punished our best customers. Then the console that read out its own plumbing: a morning walking our setup flow on a phone turned up internal jargon in every progress line, a worse experience and a map of our attack surface at once.
